Currently on sale in Pad are the spectacular fine porcelain forms with crystalline glazes by Richard Bideau. The crystalline glaze is one of the most challenging effects that the studio potter can strive to perfect. They form within the glaze during the firing. Like frost growing on a cold window pane. The crystals are three dimensional and as light catches them they seem to shimmer like holograms.
