Francesca Burras

Francesca’s main focus at the present time is on mixed media paintings and collages, prints and handmade books. Her sources of inspiration are many and varied, whether a line from a poem or the River Ribble on a winter afternoon, or an idea which has been simmering in her mind for some time. Previous work as a jeweller, dressmaker, potter and quilter, past experiences and visual memories are stored away for future use: nothing is ever wasted.
